What is the aim of this course? The aim of the EFAW is to enable a candidate to be able to act as an appointed person to take charge of the first aid arrangements, including looking after the equipment and facilities and calling the Emergency Medical Services when required. From October 2009 HSE will approve the EFAW as a First Aider qualification. How long does the course take? This course takes up to 6 hours to complete which means it can be completed in one day. What do you get when you have completed the day? On successful completion of the course you will receive a HSE approved certificate from FMT Ltd. How many people can take part in the course? We can teach the course to a maximum of 12 people but we can also accomodate larger or smaller groups. Where does the courses take place?
